YAVA
YAVA is Indonesia's most exciting new food company. YAVA creates delicious breakfast and snack foods that create smiles because we select the best tasting ingredients from across eastern Indonesia – and because we create some magic to both keep them as whole and nutritious as possible, and make them convenient and affordable. In East Bali and in Flores, YAVA buys directly from thousands of small holder farmers. In nearby rural villages, we process these raw nuts, fruits, and grains into innovative ingredients and then world-class quality foods. YAVA builds the economic health of the farmers and village as we build the capacity of the people. YAVA sells primarily to the Indonesian market and also approximately 25% of sales to over 20 countries worldwide. YAVA recently completed an expansion of our food manufacturing facility located in Desa Ban, Bali, and achieved BRC certification (with an "A" grade in the first year). YAVA also operates a warehouse facility in Ketewel; head offices in Sanur; and sales office + warehouse in Jakarta. YAVA has a total of approximately 200 permanent and up to 300 daily or contract staff. YAVA balances a strong mission to build capacity among our employees, farmers, and villages with generating profits to fuel growth of our significant impact.
