Amélie Carey

Amélie Carey is a seasoned professional in grants management and fundraising, currently serving as Senior Director of Grants and Partnership Operations at Year Up since February 2016. In this role, Amélie leads a team of grant writing experts to enhance fundraising efforts, facilitate cross-site collaboration, and implement effective grants management practices. Previously, Amélie held various positions at Year Up, including Director of Grants Management and Associate Director of Grant Writing, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of institutional funders and supporting local fundraising teams. Amélie's experience also includes working as Development & Communications Manager at Read to a Child and as Program Assistant at Root Cause. Amélie holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with additional international education experience.
