Chenny Ng

Chenny Ng serves as the Senior Director of Research & Evaluation at Year Up since March 2021, where responsibilities include co-leading the Research & Evaluation team to enhance organizational effectiveness through data and research. Prior roles at Year Up include Director and Associate Director of Research & Evaluation, during which Chenny managed a significant overhaul of the organization’s survey system and implemented new software for data processing. Previous experience includes positions at Aspire Public Schools, where impactful projects increased student attendance, and as an Education Policy Researcher at the Institute for Policy Research, managing a major study on community colleges. Chenny holds a Master's degree in Data Science and a Bachelor's degree in Social Policy and Business Institutions, both from Northwestern University.
