Jennifer Mitchell

Jennifer Mitchell possesses extensive experience in corporate engagement, community outreach, and workforce development. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Engagement for Large Local Accounts at Year Up since April 2019, Jennifer previously held multiple roles within the organization. Concurrently, since October 2017, Jennifer supervises the U.S. Department of State Alumna/American Councils' Professional Fellows Program, overseeing a project aimed at reducing youth unemployment in Indonesia. Prior to these roles, Jennifer worked with Chicago Public Schools as a Partnership Development Liaison, managing various career clusters to enhance youth work-based learning opportunities, and served at The Salvation Army - PROMISE, where contributions included the development of Illinois' first long-term residential program for young women affected by sex trafficking. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Foreign Languages from West Virginia University, a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Purdue University.
