Joshua Austin

Joshua Austin is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in system administration and network security. Currently serving as a Student Ambassador at Year Up Greater Philadelphia since August 2019, Joshua has previously held the position of VP of IT Assistant at Visit Philadelphia from May 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included implementing systems upgrades and leading cybersecurity awareness campaigns for over 100 clients. Additional experience includes a role at The Wharton School providing IT help desk support and an electrical engineering internship at Philadelphia Gas Works, which offered foundational corporate exposure. Joshua is pursuing a degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, having also attended Peirce College and Year Up United.
