Katie Phillips

Katie Phillips has over a decade of experience in institutional giving and development, currently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving at Year Up United since February 2020, after progressing through roles such as Associate Director and Manager of Institutional Giving. Prior experience includes positions as Regional Director, Director of Foundation Relations, and Development Manager at Action Ministries from February 2016 to February 2020, and as Development Coordinator at Breakthru House from June 2014 to January 2016. Earlier in her career, Katie served as a Grant Writer at the Asian American Resource Center from December 2013 to June 2014. Katie holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Georgia, where studies were completed from 2011 to 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and History from the same institution, earned between 2007 and 2011.
