Michael Laporte

Michael LaPorte serves as the National Associate Director of Program Model Implementation for Year Up since April 2017, where responsibilities include creating and facilitating training products that enhance the program model. As a facilitator, Michael specializes in delivering customized training and coaching for Opportunity Talent across the United States. Previously, as Employment Placement Manager at Year Up, Michael implemented skill-focused readiness plans, managed student performance evaluations, and facilitated courses to prepare young adults for internships and career transitions. Before joining Year Up, Michael was the Associate Director of Career Services at Brown Mackie College, overseeing career service advisors and conducting employer outreach to ensure targeted metric goals were met.
