Rashad Smith

Rashad Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and community service. As an Alumni Board member for Year Up since February 2010, Rashad plays a key role in organizing events, meetings, and workshops aimed at helping young adults succeed in corporate America. Rashad's technical expertise includes positions at NeuStar, Inc. as a NOC Analyst, overseeing server and network issues, and as a Field Engineer at iCore Networks, focusing on Cisco hardware and VoIP installations. Previous roles include Desktop Technician at Computer Sciences Corporation and Office/Marketing Assistant at Investors Real Estate, Inc. Additionally, Rashad has been a Camera/Sound Board operator at First Baptist Church of Glenarden since June 2001. Educational background includes studies in Mass Communication at West Virginia Wesleyan College and ongoing education through Year Up.
