Steve Carter

Steve Carter has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a React.js Mentor at Code the Dream since September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Community Member at YearOne, an exclusive developer community that supports and mentors non-traditional engineers in breaking into the tech industry.

Before their transition into tech, Steve worked as an Electro Mechanical Assembler at Collins Aerospace, where they provided training for new employees, assisted engineers in developing new procedures, and obtained government clearance for high-security products.

Steve's journey into tech began when they attended Flatiron School as a Student Software Engineer from June 2020 to June 2021.

Steve Carter attended the Flatiron School from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a field of study in Software Engineering. Steve did not obtain a specific degree from this institution. Moving forward, in 2021, they enrolled in HarvardX to study Computer Science. It is unclear if they have completed this program as the end year is not provided. Additionally, Steve Carter has obtained certifications in Agile Software Development from LinkedIn in November 2021, and in CompTIA A+ (220-1001 and 220-1002) Cert Prep: The Basics, also from LinkedIn in November 2021.
