Aaron Schur

Aaron Schur is currently the General Counsel at Yelp. Prior to that, they were an associate at Arnold & Porter LLP from June 2008 to June 2010. Aaron was also an associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP from October 2003 to May 2008.

Some of their accomplishments include leading a team that defended a patent infringement action brought against a Danish designer of Jabra brand office and mobile phone accessories. Aaron also obtained discovery sanctions against opposing counsel, exclusion of plaintiff expert opinions, and summary judgment of non-infringement.

In addition, Aaron has defended Sirius XM Radio in a class action brought under California privacy laws. The case settled favorably. Aaron has also defended clothing designer and retailer Title Nine in a copyright action over disputed fabric patterns. The case settled early after counterclaims were asserted against plaintiff.

They are on a team with Jed Nachman - COO, Sam Eaton - CTO, and Craig Saldanha - Chief Product Officer. Jorge Leal Garrett - Senior Corporate Counsel, Heena Virani - Senior Corporate Counsel, and William Reilly - Deputy General Counsel report to Aaron Schur. Their manager is Jeremy Stoppelman, Co-Founder & CEO.
