David Brick

David Brick is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Yelp since January 2014. In this role, David supports initiatives aimed at business owner acquisition and enhancements to Yelp's marketing tool chain while representing the Canadian engineering presence. David has advanced through various positions at Yelp, including Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager, leading multiple teams focused on user acquisition and improving onboarding experiences for business owners. Prior experience includes software development roles at Magnet Forensics, ON Semiconductor, and Unitron Hearing, where David contributed to developing software solutions and enhancing automated testing environments. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
