Peter Mai

Peter Mai is a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Yelp since October 2018, previously serving as an Application Programmer at Qualcomm Institute - UCSD Division of Calit2, where integration of HTC Vive controllers and FOVE hmd for a virtual reality project was accomplished. As Project Drive Team Lead for the IEEE Student Branch at UC San Diego, Peter led a multidisciplinary team that achieved 1st Place in Higher Education and 2nd Place Overall at the 2017 SparkFun Autonomous Vehicle Competition. Peter's expertise includes developing web applications and media controllers during an internship at Thales, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering was obtained from UC San Diego in 2018.
