Rob Johnson is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and platform development. Currently serving as the Group Technical Lead for the Compute Platform at Yelp since May 2015, Rob drives technical strategy and engineering for large-scale Kubernetes and Observability Platforms. Previous roles include Technical Lead and Software Engineer in Compute Infrastructure at Yelp, as well as Full Stack Engineer at Brand Networks. Early career experience encompasses positions as a Software Developer Intern at Semantico and PAL Leader at the University of Sussex, where Rob provided academic mentoring in Computer Science.
