Ting Yang

Ting Yang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Currently serving as a Technical Lead and Applied Scientist at Yelp since July 2018, Ting Yang focuses on cross-team collaborations to prototype, develop, and deploy machine learning models within the Applied Machine Learning team. Prior experience includes a Data Science Internship at Uber, where Ting Yang developed lifetime value forecasting and tree-based forecasting models, as well as an internship at Baidu, Inc. involving logistic regression and online advertising. Ting Yang also completed a Research Internship at Microsoft, specializing in feature engineering and machine learning techniques. Ting Yang holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Peking University.
