Devin Gunay has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2011, Devin worked as an Assistant Teacher at Susan Parr's Piano Studio. In 2013, they served as a Marketing Intern at Audionamix, assisting with marketing strategies and database organization. From 2015 to 2017, Devin worked as a Piano Teacher, focusing on teaching proper technique and music theory to students of different skill levels.
In 2015, Devin also worked as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, Inc. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Pianist at Fountain Gardens Guest Home.
Devin's career in software engineering began in 2017 at Feedonomics, where they first served as a FeedDev Intern and later as a FeedDev Engineer. During their time at Feedonomics, they developed web scrapers, analytical tools, and PHP-based microservices.
From 2018 to 2021, Devin worked at The Aerospace Corporation as a Software Engineer, providing support to DoD projects and leading teams in software assurance. 🇺🇸 developed processes and tools to improve codebase auditing and analysis.
In 2021, Devin joined Maestro as a Software Engineer and tech lead. 🇺🇸 played a key role in evolving an interactive, customer-facing product and creating prototypes for a dynamic video compositor.
Currently, Devin is a Senior Software Engineer at Yendo, a position they have held since May 2023.
Devin Gunay has a strong educational background in Computer Science and Music History. In 2011, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Music History at UCLA. Following that, from 2015 to 2017, Devin pursued coursework in Computer Programming at Orange Coast College. During this time, they also acquired a Certificate of Specialization in C++ Programming from Orange Coast College. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
