Bas de Wit

Bas de Wit is a skilled engineer with a strong background in mechanical and automotive engineering. Currently employed as a Test Engineer at DAF Trucks NV since June 2019, Bas focuses on fatigue and strength tests for a diverse range of truck components. Concurrently, Bas has been a Project Engineer at YER and has contributed as a team member to Automotive Technology InMotion, working on the electric lap record-holding car at circuit Zandvoort. Bas held the role of Technical Manager for InMotion, where innovative technologies were developed for high-efficiency racing. Previous experiences include vehicle stability analysis for Solar Team Eindhoven, an internship at Hyundai Motor Europe, and involvement in various engineering and student organizations at Eindhoven University of Technology. Bas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Automotive Engineering Science from Eindhoven University of Technology.
