Mark Slokkers is a Supervisor at YER since March 2018, having developed into a senior youth consultant after a trainee assignment at the municipality of Altena and three years at the municipality of Lopik. Mark is also responsible for curating the quarterly newsletter on developments in the Youth Act. Previously, Mark worked as a Youth and Family Coach at MEE Plus, providing support to families with a range of parenting and care-related questions. Earlier experience includes roles as an Assistant Caregiver at SOVAK and internships in the disability care sector with Amarant Groep and Stichting Prisma. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Pedagogical Assistance from Avans University of Applied Sciences and is currently pursuing further education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, expected to complete in March 2024.
