David Estep

David Estep is a highly experienced psychiatrist with a diverse background in both clinical and forensic psychiatry. Currently serving as the Regional Assistant Psychiatry Director at YesCare since April 2023, David has also held a long-term position as a Forensic Psychiatrist with the Lee County Sheriff's Office since November 2007. Previous roles include Assistant Regional Director for Psychiatry at Wexford Health Sources from January 2020 to April 2023, and Psychiatrist at East Alabama Medical Center from July 2007 to November 2019. David's military experience includes serving as a psychiatrist in the United States Air Force from July 2002 to July 2007. Academic credentials include an M.D. from Mercer University School of Medicine, a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry from West Virginia University, and a residency in Psychiatry from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. David also holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The University of Georgia.
