Timothy Stone

Timothy Stone is a Staff Psychiatrist at YesCare since April 2023, providing psychiatric services to inmates with severe mental illnesses. Previously, Timothy held the title of Statewide Psychiatric Director for YesCare's Alabama Healthcare Team. In academia, Timothy serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Alabama at Birmingham since January 1997. Other notable positions include Associate Medical Director and Medical Director at American Behavioral (now Uprise Health) from November 2014 to March 2024, and Psychiatric Director for Wexford Health Sources in Alabama from June 2019 to March 2023. Timothy has also worked as Medical Director at Chilton Shelby Mental Health and the State of Alabama Department of Mental Health and has extensive experience as Staff Psychiatrist and Consulting Psychiatrist across various mental health facilities. Timothy earned an MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry from The University of Alabama.
