Zsofia Zalkai

Zsofia Zalkai, FCCA, currently serves as the Head of Strategic Finance Projects at Telenor Hungary since October 2020. Previously, Zsofia held the position of Head of Internal Audit at Provident Pénzügyi Zrt. from July 2019 to September 2020. Zsofia has amassed extensive experience in risk management and internal auditing during a tenure at CIB Bank from March 2011 to June 2019, where roles included Head of Enterprise Risk Management, Head of Operational Risk Management, and Senior Internal Auditor. Additional experience includes a role as Control Assurance and Risk Management Specialist at Diageo and as a Senior Associate at PwC Hungary. Zsofia began professional endeavors as an Editor-reporter at Gazdasági Rádió from June 2006 to June 2008. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Károli Gáspár University (2022-2025), an Advanced Management Programme from Central European University (2013-2014), and an ACCA qualification obtained from 2009 to 2014, along with a Master’s Degree from Corvinus University of Budapest (2003-2008). High school education was completed at Lovassy Laszlo Gimnazium (1997-2003).
