Ashok Das

Ashok Das is an experienced professional in the fields of renewable energy and semiconductor manufacturing with a solid academic foundation in Mechanical Engineering, holding a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and multiple degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. As the Founder of SunMoksha since December 2008, Ashok developed innovative technologies such as Smart Nanogrid™ and Smart AQUAnet™ for energy management and irrigation systems. Currently serving as a Fellow at Yield Engineering Systems, Ashok leads a team in simulation-enabled design for semiconductor equipment. Ashok's expertise extends to consulting for the World Bank Group on digital monitoring systems and advising companies on funding and strategy through the Private Financing Advisory Network. Past roles include heading renewable energy initiatives at the National Institute of Science and Technology, adjunct teaching at the University of South Florida, and directorial positions in various renewable energy projects.
