Tormod Smith

Tormod Smith has a diverse range of work experience. Tormod started their career as a Foreign Language Tutor, teaching English in South Korea. Tormod then worked as a Foreign Language Teacher in a Korean public high school, where they developed various skills and demonstrated adaptability. Tormod later worked as an Intern at Reed Specialist Recruitment, sourcing suitable candidates for the Accounting and Finance department. Tormod then joined Jorgensen Turner Estate Agents as a Sales/Lettings Negotiator, where they delivered excellent customer service and achieved demanding sales targets. Tormod further advanced their career as a Sales Negotiator at Winkworth, where they guided buyers and vendors through the residential sales process and built extensive knowledge of the North West London property market.

In 2015, Tormod took on the role of a Commercial Property Agent at easyProperty.com, where they helped create a simple and cost-effective online platform for letting commercial properties. Tormod then attended the Node Boot Camp at Founders & Coders C.I.C., where they gained skills in non-SQL databases, APIs, OAuth2, and Hapi. Tormod's next role was as a Web Developer at Smartzer, where they used the latest web technologies to build robust and interactive software. Currently, they are employed at Yieldify, first as a Technical Solutions Engineer and then promoted to Lead Technical Solutions Engineer. In these roles, Tormod has been responsible for finding technical solutions to optimize the Yieldify application on clients' websites, writing custom JavaScript solutions, and managing API and ESP integrations.
