Brian Song

Brian Song has worked in the financial industry for over 16 years. Brian began their career in 2005 as a Quantitative Analyst for Countrywide. In 2006, they moved to UBS Investment Bank, where they held the role of Executive Director. In 2014, they joined SMBC Capital Markets as the Head of Front Office Strategists and Managing Director. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Head Quant for YieldX.

Brian Song received their Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Southern California in 2005. Brian also attended Peking University, though no degree was obtained. Additionally, they hold a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute, as well as a Neural Networks and Deep Learning certification from Coursera.
