Ran Ding

Ran Ding serves as a General Partner at Norwest Venture Partners since August 2011, where responsibilities include co-heading the growth equity team. In addition to this role, Ran Ding holds several board member positions at Vertical Software Co, Elite Business Ventures Inc, Banyan Software, and SpryPoint, as well as serving as an investor in GeoComply. Board observer roles include Velocity Global and Vector Solutions. Ran Ding has also been a board member for YipitData since 2019, which was recapitalized by Carlyle in 2021. Ran Ding earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
