Mikael Österman is currently a Development Engineer at YIT, focusing on applying industrialized construction in Residential Finland and CEE segments. Mikael previously worked as a Production Engineer at YIT in the Fabriikki residential area, completing seven projects from 2018 to 2022. They earned a Master of Science in Management and Information Technology from Tampere University in 2021 and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences, where they also completed their bachelor’s thesis on lean applications in construction. In addition, Mikael studied for a semester at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt in Germany.
