Tom Sandvik

Tom Sandvik is a seasoned professional in the urban development and construction industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of the Housing CEE Division at YIT, a role held since December 2010. Sandvik oversees the Housing Business across the Central Eastern Europe (CEE) region and Baltic countries, also holding the position of Chairman of the board of directors for YIT subsidiaries in the same areas. With a trajectory that includes previous roles such as Vice President for business development and corporate planning at YIT, as well as CEO of Sonera Living, Sandvik has a comprehensive background in business development, strategy, and real estate management. Sandvik's academic foundation includes a Master's Degree in Construction Economics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, attained in 1989.
