Bert Orens

Bert Orens is a highly experienced professional in the field of engineering with a strong focus on data engineering, automation, and manufacturing processes. Currently serving as a Data Engineer and Automation Engineer at Yitch! since August 2018, Bert contributes to the digitization and automation of production processes through consultancy and project execution. Prior to this role, Bert worked at Sanofi from May 2015 to July 2018 as a Manufacturing Engineer, involved in the startup of monoclonal antibody production and software testing. With a long tenure at Sanofi Genzyme from 2000 to 2015, Bert gained expertise in process engineering and manufacturing science, focusing on protein purification and process validation. Bert holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg, earned between 1997 and 2000.
