Ariel Shiftan

Ariel Shiftan is a seasoned technology leader with a strong background in computer science and extensive experience in various roles. As Co-Founder and CTO of MCPTotal since January 2021, Ariel specializes in software security and product development. Additionally, Ariel serves as an Insider for YL Ventures, contributing expertise to support portfolio companies. Previous experience includes positions as a Machine Learning Specialist at Zzapp Malaria and a Senior Director at Magic Leap, where Ariel held multiple titles, including Head of Product Security. Ariel co-founded NorthBit, which was acquired by Magic Leap, and has also led projects at Lucid and worked as a contractor at Feedzilla. A Ph.D. holder in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, Ariel has a solid academic foundation complemented by a career that includes leadership roles in the Israeli Defense Forces and teaching assistance in algorithms.
