Jay G.

Jay G. is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Venture Advisor at YL Ventures since June 2018. Previously, Jay held significant leadership positions including VP & Global CISO at James Hardie, Chief Security Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Samsung Electronics, and Risk Manager for Global Cyber Security at Hewlett-Packard. Additional roles include Digital Forensic Examiner at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and Information Systems Security Manager for the United States Department of the Navy. Jay began a career in cybersecurity with the US Marine Corps, progressing from Cyber Defense Manager to Gunnery Sergeant. Jay holds a Bachelor's degree in IT Management from National University and has prior education from the University of Colorado Boulder.
