Dean Paddock has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as a Marketing Manager at Bell Canada, where they held various roles and developed integrated marketing and communications programs. In 2008, they joined Encana as a Manager, overseeing brand management and community investment. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at TD as a Manager in Corporate & Public Affairs. Paddock then joined The Calgary Airport Authority in 2017, first as a Director of Corporate Communications, and later as the Director of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement. Currently, they are an Instructor at Bow Valley College, teaching courses on Integrated Marketing and Digital Media, and Organizational Sustainability. Additionally, Paddock is serving as the Vice President of Community Engagement at YMCA Calgary starting from 2022.
Dean Paddock earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive Management from Royal Roads University in 2015. In the same year, they also completed a specialization for their MBA in the European Union Business Environment & Innovation Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management. In 2023, they pursued a program focused on Public Policy at Max Bell Foundation. In 2020, Dean completed a certificate program in Indigenous Canada at the University of Alberta. Additionally, they studied Marketing at The Wharton School in 2014.
