Jack McCarthy

Jack McCarthy is the President and Co-CEO of AppleTree Institute for Education Innovation, where they lead initiatives aimed at providing high-quality early childhood education to underserved children. With experience dating back to 1996 at AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School, Jack has played a vital role in expanding the organization and its programs, including the nationally recognized Every Child Ready model. Prior to this, Jack served as President of McCarthy and Company and held leadership roles in various education and nonprofit organizations. Jack's commitment to educational reform is further exemplified by board memberships, including the District of Columbia Special Education Cooperative and Teachstone, as well as being an Adjunct Instructor at The American University School of Public Affairs. They earned a B.S. in Political Science from American University in 1979.
