John Lowry

John Lowry is an experienced executive and board member with a diverse background in operations and leadership across multiple industries. Currently serving on the boards of The Whiskey Project Group and YMX Logistics, as well as an advisory role at Freedom Learning Group, John previously held the position of Senior Advisor and Head of the North American Supply Chain & Operations Practice at Egon Zehnder from 2016 to 2024. John also served as the Assistant Secretary for Veterans' Employment and Training Service at the U.S. Department of Labor, where responsibilities included establishing a new vision for the agency. With a strong operational foundation from roles at REV Group, Inc. and Harley-Davidson, alongside a distinguished military career as a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps, John possesses a robust educational background including an MBA from Harvard Business School and advanced degrees from Stanford University, Princeton University, and The United States Army War College.
