Abdullah Murad, PhD has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2004. Abdullah began their career as an Assistant Project Manager Trainee at Saudi Business Machines - SBM. In 2006, they moved to the University of California, Riverside, where they worked as a Technical Support. In 2007, they worked as a Web Developer at California State University, Fullerton. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Research Associate, PhD Candidate, and Teaching Assistant at Claremont Graduate University. In 2014, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at GIS Technology Innovation Center. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute and Director of Health Innovation Center (HIC) at Umm Al-Qura University. During this time, they also worked as a Director of Business Incubator and Accelerator Programs at Wadi Makkah. In 2017, they founded YnmoData, and in 2016, they founded SoftCare LLC, a Saudi startup company specialized in web and mobile app development. Since 2019, they have worked as an Assistant Professor at the College of Computer and Information Systems at Umm Al-Qura University.

Abdullah Murad, PhD obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM in 2000-2005. Abdullah then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at California State University, Fullerton from 2007-2009. Following this, they completed a Master's Degree in Information Systems and Technology at Claremont Graduate University from 2010-2012. Abdullah then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Systems and Technology at Claremont Graduate University from 2012-2014. In 2018, they completed a Master of Business Administration - Mini-MBA at Babson College in the field of SME Growth. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Coursera in Fundamentals of Machine Learning for Healthcare, Healthcare Data Security, Privacy, and Compliance, and Managing ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Concussion in School in July 2022.
