David O'Reilly

David O'Reilly has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. David currently serves as a Principal Engineer at Yoco since March 2022. Before that, they were the Co-Owner and Chief Technology Officer at NONA, a software consultancy specializing in Fintech, from June 2019 to March 2022. David also held the position of Co-Owner and Director at NONA from May 2017 to June 2019.

Prior to NONA, David worked at OrderIn as the Technical Director from January 2017 to August 2018. David was responsible for making technical decisions and collaborating with other business units on technology and growth strategies. David also served as the Head of Mobile Engineering at OrderIn from January 2014 to December 2016, overseeing the development of mobile apps, consulting on best practices, and integrating backend services.

Before OrderIn, David was the Co-Owner and Technical Director at Breakdesign Pte Ltd, a design and development studio, from January 2006 to January 2017. David focused on pushing mobile technology to its limits and achieved over 20 million downloads for the studio's own content.

David's earlier roles include being a Partner at Myows from October 2009 to May 2014, and an External Consultant at OgilvyOne Worldwide, where they worked on award-winning mobile applications and the establishment of the "Ogilvy Innovation Lab" in Singapore.

David'scareer started as a System Administrator at W@M, an ISP, from March 2003 to November 2005. David played a key role in unifying ISP systems, transitioning hosting services, and improving customer service efficacy.

David O'Reilly pursued their education at various institutions. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Westerford High School and completed their Matric degree. Later, they enrolled at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (Computational Intelligence) from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, David pursued further studies at the same university, completing their Bachelor of Science Honours in Semantic Computing from 2011 to 2014.
