Doug Walker

Doug Walker is an accomplished financial services executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Programme Director for Financial Services at Yoco since January 2024, Doug also founded Gravity Nine Point Eight in 2018, aiming to deliver inclusive digital financial solutions to underserved communities. Prior to this, Doug held significant positions at Absa Group, including Managing Director of Group Payments and Physical Cash and CEO Elect for a proposed digital disruptor bank. Doug's career spans over two decades, with key roles at Woolworths, Standard Bank Group, and other financial institutions, complemented by executive education from London Business School and GIBS Business School.
