Swendrisa Peter

Swendrisa Peter is a seasoned professional in risk management and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Risk and Compliance at Yoco since March 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Risk Manager at Habib Bank AG Zurich, where responsibilities included managing the quarterly risk reporting process and facilitating risk assessments. As a Regional Risk Consultant at SBV, Swendrisa managed risk reporting to executive teams and developed mitigation strategies. At RCL FOODS, Swendrisa held several positions, including Strategy Analytical Manager and Group Risk Manager, where focus included delivering strategic solutions, managing the Enterprise Risk Management framework, and supporting sustainability initiatives. Earlier career experience includes roles at PwC as a Senior Consultant and at the Auditor-General of South Africa as a Senior Auditor. Swendrisa holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with Honours in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
