Hernán Cassinelli has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Hernán is currently the Director of Engineering (Backend) at YoCripto since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ualá where they held the positions of Software Architect from December 2019 to 2022, and Backend Technical Leader from December 2016 to December 2019.
Hernán also co-founded Bitcoffee in 2014, a coffee company with an online presence. Hernán served as a Co-Founder and was involved in its operations until June 2018.
Before that, Hernán worked at GlobalLogic Latinoamerica starting from October 2015 until November 2016, where they held the role of Senior Java Developer.
From March 2009 to August 2015, Hernán worked at Gemalto as a Senior Software Engineer. During their tenure, they were responsible for the development, estimation, planning, and implementation of mobile and SIMcard related products and projects for Gemalto LATAM. Hernán also integrated Gemalto products for LATAM Mobile Network Operators and contributed to continuous improvement initiatives.
Hernán began their career at Snoop Consulting in September 2007 as a Developer. Their responsibilities included the development and design of various applications using technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Web Frwks (JSF, Struts & GWT), Maven 2, JDBC, JUnit, and DBMSs (IBM DB2, Oracle). Hernán worked there until April 2008.
Hernán Cassinelli obtained their degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, where they studied from 2003 to 2010. Prior to this, they completed their secondary education at Instituto San José de Calasanz from 1998 to 2002, earning a degree as a Bachiller Especialista en Informática, Computación. The field of study for this degree is not specified.
