Anil B. has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Anil started their career as an intern at VXL Instruments in 2002. Anil then worked at Novell Software Development as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development and testing of various products. In particular, they were involved in the development and testing of Novell Kerberos KDC, SASL GSSAPI, NMAS Kerberos Methods, and the integration of eDirectory LDAP infrastructure with KDC and SASL GSSAPI.

After Novell, Anil joined Goldman Sachs as a Senior Security Engineer in the Security Engineering Team. Here, they worked on the design and development of authentication and entitlement plugins using C/C++, GSSAPI, SSPI, and ISAPI Filters. Anil also developed GSAuthnClient API's for client authentication to the WebID infrastructure.

Following their time at Goldman Sachs, Anil worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Software Engineer/Specialist. Anil primarily worked as a file system developer, performing feature enhancements, defect triage, system administration tasks, and packaging RPM's for kernel modules, libraries, and command line utilities.

Anil then joined Red Hat as a System Engineer/TSC and contributed until 2015. Recently, they have been working as a Release Engineer at both OpenDaylight Project and The Linux Foundation since 2016.

Anil B. completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their degree, Anil B. has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Anil is a certified ONAP 2022 Contributor from The Linux Foundation, obtaining the certification in February 2022. In January 2016, they completed a Machine Learning course, earning a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates. In December 2015, Anil B. obtained a certificate for completing the "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" course from Coursera Course Certificates. Anil also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in April 2015. Anil B. has further certifications in RedHat Performance Tuning - EX442 (earned in November 2013), RHCE (earned in November 2012), and the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification.
