Chris P. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 1997, Chris worked as a Testing Coordinator at City Colleges of Chicago-Harry S Truman College. From 2001 to 2003, Chris served as a Language Specialist at Online Interpreters / Language Line Services. Following this, from 2004 to 2008, Chris worked as a Residential and Small Commercial Real Estate Appraiser at PRIME APPRAISAL SERVICES, INC.

In 2008, Chris transitioned to the role of a Commercial Landscaping Construction Estimator at Christy Webber Landscapes. This position involved securing new construction projects and establishing business relationships with major contractors. Chris also provided training for new employees in the Estimating and Commercial Construction departments.

Moving on, from 2011 to 2015, Chris was employed at Accenture as an Integration Specialist. In this role, they designed and implemented messaging middleware solutions to improve processing efficiency and enable future business capacity increase. Chris also took on leadership responsibilities and promoted collaboration between cross-cultural teams.

In 2017, Chris worked as a Cloud Solutions Designer in a consulting role. They were responsible for designing cloud solutions and their integration. This role ended in 2021.

In 2018, Chris joined The Linux Foundation, initially as an Instructor, Course Author, and Forum Moderator. Then, in 2019, they founded their own company, NQB8 Cloud Tech Consulting, where they assumed the role of Founder and CEO.

Chris P. began their education in 2009 at Northeastern Illinois University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science until 2011. After their time at Northeastern Illinois University, their education history becomes uncertain as the start and end years are not provided. However, they did study Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Chris P. has obtained various certifications. In 2017, they became an AWS CSA-Associate and obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. The same year, they also achieved a CompTIA Cloud+ ce certification from CompTIA.

Furthermore, Chris P. has received several certifications related to Kubernetes and Linux. In 2019, they obtained a CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation), as well as a CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation. They also acquired a CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification from CNCF and a CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation.

Additionally, Chris P. holds a Course Developer certification from The Linux Foundation, obtained in 2019, and a Course Maintainer 2022 certification from The Linux Foundation, obtained in January 2023. They have also earned a Certificate of Excellence for Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus server advanced installation from Linux Expert, and an Honor Code Certificate for LFS101x.2: Introduction to Linux from The Linux Foundation.
