Marcelo Novaes

Marcelo Novaes is the Vice President of Strategy & Operations at The Linux Foundation, a role they have held since 2023. Previously, they served as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Athenian from 2019 to 2022, which was acquired by The Linux Foundation. Marcelo's extensive experience includes positions in equity research and investment banking at firms such as Goldman Sachs, Fisher Investimentos, and Standard & Poor's. Marcelo earned a BBA from the School of Economics, Business and Accounting at the University of São Paulo and has passed Level II of the CFA Program.
