Nirav Patel

Nirav Patel has a diverse range of work experience in various technology roles. Nirav has served as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of LFX at The Linux Foundation, where they launched and grew a team of 80 technology professionals, catering to over 3.2 million community customers. As the VP of Product and Engineering at The Linux Foundation, they led the organization's digital transformation and was responsible for the product and technology vision and strategy.

Nirav has also worked at Acclinate, where they served as the CTO and Product Leader, responsible for defining the company's product vision and strategy. Nirav worked closely with the CEO and co-founder to develop a detailed product roadmap, budget, and hiring plan.

In their role as Architect and Principal Software Engineer at Joyent, Samsung, Nirav played a key role in architecting cloud solutions for the food service industry. Nirav adopted cloud-native technologies and established best practices for configuration, automation, and platform scalability.

Prior to this, Nirav worked at Rackspace Technology as a Senior Platform and DevOps Engineer, where they were responsible for infrastructure and orchestration across multiple cloud providers. Nirav worked on microservices architecture and designed a contract-first infrastructure API.

Nirav also has experience as a Technical Lead at Synapse Wireless, Inc., where they researched, scoped, and architected a high-speed IoT processing platform. Nirav designed a distributed computing platform capable of processing up to 300,000 messages per second.

Earlier in their career, Nirav worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Redstone Federal Credit Union and as a Software Engineer at D&Y.

Nirav Patel pursued their education in Computer Science and Engineering at North Maharashtra University from 2001 to 2006, obtaining a Bachelor's degree. Following this, they enrolled in the University of North Alabama from 2007 to 2009 to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Computer Information Systems.
