Sam Ramji is the CEO and co-founder of Sailplane, a hierarchical planning AI research company, and serves as an AI Scout for True Ventures. With 30 years of experience in the tech industry, Sam previously led Kubernetes and DevOps product management at Google Cloud and founded the Cloud Foundry Foundation. They have also played key roles in developing multi-billion dollar markets and redefining Microsoft's open source strategy. Throughout their career, Sam has been involved in advisory roles with multiple organizations and currently holds a position on the Board of Trustees for UC San Diego. Sam earned a B.S. in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego in 1994 and remains passionate about artificial intelligence and cognitive psychology.
