Chip Lutton

Chip Lutton currently serves as the Head of Legal at Yohana since July 2023 and has been on the Advisory Board of The LOT Network since July 2014, where Chip also served as the initial volunteer Executive Director. Lutton held the position of SVP & General Counsel at C3 AI from September 2021 to July 2022, overseeing legal matters for the CEO and senior executive team. Prior to that, Lutton was the Senior Director of Legal at Google from February 2018 to July 2021, focusing on product and commercial agreements for the Devices and Services Product Area. Lutton served as the General Counsel at Nest Labs from April 2012 until the acquisition by Google and continued in the role under Alphabet until July 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Patent Counsel at Apple from 2001 to 2011, managing the company's global patent program, and working as an Intellectual Property Attorney at Sun Microsystems and a Litigation Attorney at Arnold, White & Durkee. Lutton holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a BSEE from Rice University.
