Derek Sessions

Derek Sessions has a diverse work experience that includes roles at Microsoft, Rice University, Panopto, and their current position as Chief Technology Officer at Yoodli. At Panopto, they held various positions ranging from Senior Developer to Engineering Manager, responsible for video creation, editing, and cloud operations. Prior to that, Derek worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft. Derek also interned at Microsoft during their undergraduate studies at Rice University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Currently, they lead the technology team at Yoodli, which focuses on improving communication skills through AI-powered feedback.
