Michael G.

Michael G. is an executive leader in genomics and digital health who currently serves as Executive Chair of the Board at DNAnexus and chairs the boards of CareDx and YorUltrasound. They founded Axion, Inc., served as President and CEO from 1987 to 1995, and the company was acquired by Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1996. They held leadership roles at Mohr Davidow Ventures (General Partner, 2005–2011) and served on the boards of iRhythm Technologies (Founding Investor, Chair/Member, Board of Directors, 2007–2010) and eHealth, Inc. (Board member, 1999–2021). They earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business (1981) and are a graduate of Brandeis University; they reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and are a part-time resident of Telluride, Colorado with their spouse Ashley and their four children.
