Robert Beal

Robert Beal is a highly experienced technology leader with significant expertise in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as Staff Tech Lead Manager at Yoto since February 2023, Robert has focused on enhancing the Platform Team's structure and transitioning to cross-functional teams. Previously, as Senior Engineering Manager at LandTech, Robert oversaw a department of 60 engineers and played a key role in expanding the team, implementing a remote-first culture, and achieving substantial reductions in incidents and defects. Robert's earlier roles include positions at Skyscanner, 7digital, BBC, huddle.net, and uSwitch, with a strong foundation in software engineering beginning at Sky. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Exeter.
