Robbert Sturm

Robbert Sturm has a diverse work experience in the financial and advisory industry. Robbert is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Yellow Hive since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at You Sure starting from September 2022.

Before joining Yellow Hive and You Sure, Robbert worked at PwC Nederland for almost a decade. Robbert started in August 2013 as a Director Deals, where they managed projects for both corporate and private equity clients. Robbert'sresponsibilities included buy-side and sell-side due diligence, vendor assistance, IPO, and business carve-outs. As a primary client and team lead, they were responsible for overall project management and client reporting. Robbert stayed with PwC Nederland until September 2022.

Robbert also worked at PwC UK as a Manager Transaction Services in London from March 2011 to July 2013. Prior to that, they were a Manager Transaction Services in Rotterdam at PwC Nederland from October 2007 to February 2011.

Beginning their career at KPMG Nederland, Robbert worked as a Supervisor Audit from October 2003 to September 2007. In this role, they managed several audit and audit-related projects, primarily in Financial Services companies such as insurance companies, banks, and pension funds. As a primary team and client lead, they were responsible for overall project management and client reporting.

Robbert Sturm began their education at Christelijke Scholengemeenschap Walcheren from 1993 to 1999, where they completed their VWO degree. Robbert then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduating in 2003. Continuing their education, they attended Erasmus School of Accounting & Assurance from 2003 to 2007, obtaining their Register Accountant degree and becoming a chartered accountant.
