Fleming Slone

Fleming Slone has been working in the technology industry since 2002. Fleming started as an NPDES Inspector at ASA Engineering & Surveying, Inc, where they scanned and built a database that digitized twenty years' of the companies engineering drawings, using Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, and Geographic Information System (GIS). In 2007, they became a Senior Web Developer at Intercept Sales, Inc., where they developed a long-tail SEO marketing strategy that quadrupled gross income within two years, and migrated the e-commerce site to X-Cart, a more SEO friendly PHP based solution. In 2011, they worked as a Web Developer at WebMD LLC, where they developed custom ad campaigns for large pharmaceutical brands like Pfizer and Novartis, and built interactive self diagnosis tools for WebMD.com. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at FLIR Systems as a Senior Web Developer, where they developed software to provide brick and mortar retailers with customer traffic analysis via the Brickstream stereoscopic camera platform, and built a responsive UI for the camera platform using a custom built MVC framework. Fleming also oversaw development of automated Selenium tests as part of their continuous integration process. In 2020, they joined Banyan Hills Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer (contract), where they developed mobile and web based banking software for clients in the financial industry, and served as a senior developer mentoring a small team on best practices. Fleming also joined You42 as a Senior Frontend Developer.

Fleming Slone attended Valdosta State University from 2003 to 2005, studying Biology. Fleming then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management of Technology. In May 2018, they obtained a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from the EC-Council.
