Stephanie Cray

Stephanie Cray has worked in various roles since 2006. Stephanie began their career as an Outreach/Development Coordinator at California State University, Chico, where they were responsible for sourcing, recruiting, selecting, and supervising staff of volunteers for the street team. In 2008, they moved to Cal Poly Pomona as an Event Coordinator, where they supported university administration and faculty in the planning, scheduling, and logistical requirements for the first annual Entertainment and Music Career Fair held on campus. In 2009, they joined UnitedHealthcare as a Customer Care Professional, where they conducted research on health insurance policies for current and prior members. In 2010, they began working for the Internal Revenue Service as a Client Service Representative, where they drafted, edited, and disbursed letters and documents to taxpayers from the IRS. From 2013 to 2017, they worked for the Veterans Health Administration as a Program Support Clerk, where they received and responded to calls from veterans on verification process and requirements for health benefits through the VA. During this time, they also worked for Mobile App Hero as a Software Developer. In 2017, they joined WhatCounts as a Frontend Developer and in 2021 they began working for You42 as a Software Engineer.

Stephanie Cray began their educational journey in 2003 at Cañada College, where they studied General Studies. Stephanie then transferred to California State University, Chico in 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music Management. In 2007, they continued their studies at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music Management. From 2012-2014, Stephanie Cray attended Georgia State University and earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. In 2016, they obtained a Computer Coding Certification from General Assembly in Software and Web Development. Additionally, Stephanie Cray is a Certified Nonprofit Professional.
