Luis Chavez

Luis Chavez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Starting in 2012, they worked as a Sustainability Programs Assistant at Chapman University before transitioning to a Production Assistant role at COCO, LLC in 2013. Luis then gained experience as a Personal Assistant for Seann William Scott and as an American Film Market Assistant at Imagination Worldwide, LLC.

In 2013, Chavez returned to Chapman University as a Videographer & Technology Assistant before joining BuzzFeed as a Video Production Intern, BFMP Video Fellow, and Facebook LIVE Resident. Luis also briefly worked as an Assistant Director for the Tasty Date Night series.

Starting in 2015, they took on multiple roles at BuzzFeed, including Assistant Director and Resident, before joining GoMeta, Inc in 2016 as a Freelance Associate Producer. There, they created augmented reality experiences and custom assets for community use. Luis later became a Community Manager & Creative Producer and a Creative Director & Community Lead.

Chavez then transitioned to Koji in 2020, taking on roles as a Creative, Engineering, & Special Projects Lead and a Lead Product Manager. Finally, in 2023, they joined YouAi as a Lead Product Manager.

Luis Chavez pursued their higher education at Chapman University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a focus on Creative Producing. Subsequently, they attended Collège International de Cannes, though specific dates and degrees earned are unavailable. It can be inferred that their time at Collège International de Cannes was dedicated to studying French Language and Literature.
